Cooling Performance Based on Outside Temperature

When used with the Biogel cooling pack, the Companion medical cooler bag maintains a cool temperature between 2°C and 26°C.

Cooling duration depends on the external ambient temperature:

🌡️ Outside temperature 40°C → The cooler bag keeps your insulin and medication cool between 2–26°C for up to 10 hours

🌡️ Outside temperature 35°C → The cooler bag keeps your insulin and medication cool between 2–26°C for up to 12 hours

🌡️ Outside temperature 30°C → The cooler bag keeps your insulin and medication cool between 2–26°C for up to 14 hours

⚠️ Important!

The medication cooler bag is designed only for open or in-use medications that must be kept below 26°C, but not refrigerated.

How to Use The Companion Cold Bag for Insulin and Medicines

The Companion medical cooler bag for insulin provides a straightforward cooling solution for your insulin and injectable medications, all without requiring electricity, thanks to its clever biogel cooling pack. Here’s how to use it:

1. Prepare the Biogel Cooling Pack: Shake the biogel cooling pack up and down four or five times to evenly distribute the gel.
2. Freeze the Biogel Cooling Pack: Place the biogel cooling pack into your freezer for 6 to 8 hours until fully frozen. The gel is specifically designed to absorb and
   retain cold temperatures efficiently, ensuring your medication remains cool.
3. Get the Cooling Pack Ready for Use: Once frozen, immerse the biogel cooling pack in warm water for around 60 seconds. This softens the gel inside, ensuring it maintains a safe temperature for effective cooling without freezing your medications.
4. Insert the Biogel Pack into the Cooler Bag: Once prepared, place the biogel cooling pack into the insulated medical cool bag.
5. Add Your Medicines: Arrange your insulin pens, vials, or any other temperature-sensitive medicines inside the cooler bag alongside the biogel cooling pack.

With your medicines securely stored, you’re ready for up to 14 hours of medical-grade, reliable cooling during your travels.
